Nikki is a native of East Tennessee and has been a Georgia Resident since 2012.

Her nursing career began in 2007 after graduating from Carson-Newman University. Prior to grad school, she enjoyed working as a registered nurse in postpartum, well baby, and pediatrics.

She graduated with a Master’s degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2011. Her specialties were Nurse Midwifery and Family Practice. Nikki’s first midwife job was in El Paso, TX at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She moved on to join Atlanta Women’s Health Group in January 2015 initially with OBGYN of Atlanta where she stayed for 8 years prior to transitioning into a full time hospitalist position in 2022. Nikki worked solely in the hospital for 2 years until she eventually returned home to OBGA in May 2025.

Nikki is a die hard University of Tennessee fan and enjoys spending her time with her husband Ty, daughter Nyomi, and Shih Tzu, Knox.
