Dr. Tipton is originally from Berea, Kentucky. After moving to Atlanta, she received her B.S. in Biology from Georgia State University, graduating summa cum laude. She later earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her Ob-Gyn residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
Dr. Tipton provides comprehensive OB-GYN care with clinical interests in reproductive healthcare, contraception, transgender care, menopause, and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic and vaginal techniques. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
Before medicine, Dr. Tipton spent more than a decade as a professional ballet dancer and instructor, performing with organizations including Atlanta Ballet and Theater Augsburg in Germany. She has also been a guest artist with Alvin Ailey. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, son, and rescue dog. She is happiest either in nature or supporting the arts.
